Lee Lewellen

SENIOR ADVISOR

Lee Lewellen is one of the foremost strategic facilitators in Indiana and an expert on the dynamics of consensus building. Lee has successfully managed complex projects involving multiple individuals, institutions and media in over thirty Indiana counties.  From 2013 - 2023 Lee served as the first President/Chief Executive Officer of the Indiana Economic Development Association (IEDA).

Previously, Lee served as Vice President of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) from 1999-2007. He served in various executive positions over fifteen years with the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce that included overseeing the Chamber's public policy activities, creating its small business division and directing events, leadership programs and international trade activities.

Lee holds a Master of the Arts in Sociology from Ball State University, is a 1996 Graduate of the Institutes for Organizational Management and a 2022 graduate of the Community Foundations Institute. In 2023, he was named a Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Eric J. Holcomb.

Lee is an avid singer/guitar player and his photos of historic Indiana architecture are frequently featured in local and national publications.
